Last updated: September 2026. These terms govern your use of SwapR, operated by SmartEx Financials Inc. (Texas).
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your password and for activity that happens through your account. Tell us immediately at /contact if you suspect unauthorised use.
2. Marketplace conduct
List only items you own and have the right to sell. Prohibited goods (counterfeits, weapons, controlled substances, stolen property) are removed and may end the account. Off-platform payment attempts are fraud signals and are actioned by our Trust & Safety team.
3. Escrow, fees and settlement
Cash trades settle through escrow: the buyer's funds are held, the seller delivers, and release happens on confirmation or auto-release. SwapR charges a platform fee of 2.5% at release. Wallet balances are custodial credits — withdrawable through the supported rails at any time.
4. Disputes
Either side may open a dispute before release. Evidence from both sides is reviewed by staff, who rule to release or refund. Rulings are final for the trade in question; repeated abuse of the dispute system may restrict an account.
5. BNPL
Pay-later plans are credit agreements: missed instalments accrue late fees and affect eligibility. You are responsible for the financed amount under the plan you accept.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced on the site. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
